"We just returned from a week at this beautiful place. John,
Princess, Duchess and I loved the cabin. I use this term losely since it is much
more than a "CABIN" Alec and Barbara thought of everything inside and
out. We spent a lot of time just chilling out from our hectic lives here in
Pembroke Pines, Fl. We fell in love with this pet friendly lovely place and hope
to come back again. Thanks to both of you for a wonderful vacation.

Regards,
Lois and John 7/19/2008"

I just want to say my Mother and I stayed here for 1 week in
the begining of May. What a beautiful place. Alec and Barbara have thought of
everything. Alec was very helpful with local information , which allowed us to
make the most of our time there. Highly recomend Table Rock Park as well as
Casears Head and Jones Gap State Park. Many trails and waterfalls in the area to
chose from. Beautiful part of the county.

To celebrate our
34th wedding anniversary, we were looking for a quiet getaway (raising 5 kids, 3
cats underfoot, living in the city, well, ... you get the picture).

This
house was more than we could have hoped for. My wife was delighted as we stepped
through the door and saw all the space and light.

Alec and Barbara were
perfect hosts, making us feel welcomed while respecting our desire for privacy.
They really have thought of everything, including a corkscrew, which I had
forgotten!

Camille, Bear and company, the dogs, provide 24/7 security and
friendly morning greetings.

If you're looking for a private getaway, this is
it!

We had a lovely time staying at this
guest house. Although it is located near the main house, there was plenty of
privacy and it felt "just like home" with a beautiful open living room
and amazing kitchen. All this and just a short drive to Table Rock State Park
and other parks where we could hike and kayak all day and come back to a
relaxing cabin for the rest of the evening! Thanks so much for a wonderful place
to stay in the upstate!
